River
Valley's two
separate nurseries for babies Located just outside the main auditorium, our Neo-Nursery is equipped with couches, rockers, and other supplies needed by nursing mothers or those with infants. The Neo-nursery is also equipped with a television monitor which broadcasts the ongoing service. Located at the base of the staircase on RVCC's lower level is our Noah's Nursery, designed for children ages 6 months-2 years. Toddlers are introduced to a more engaging and mobile environment with fun activities that meet their growing abilities.

Critter Land is our special place for pre-schoolers ages 2-5. In Critter Land, kids learn about God using animal puppets and creative teaching. Currently, we are using "POKEY PORCUPINE" curriculum from Kidz Blitz. Elements of Critter Land include the Big Idea, the Egg, and the Critter Tale. At the activity stations, pre-schoolers play a game, reinforce the Big Idea using creative communication with puppets, or enjoy a snack. Two classes are available--one for 4-5 year olds and another for 2-3 year olds. |
The H2O Zone for kids in K-5 begins their experiences each Sunday with breakfast snacks, fun, and games in the game room. Within a few minutes, they become a part of live worship with our own band, River Pure. Following worship, school-age children visit centers where they may tell a Bible story, enjoy an art activity, or connect with others at the game center. Currently, we are using "GOD'S KIDS GROW" from Gospel Light Publishing on Sunday mornings. Children can also participate in various activities: Club 345 is a group designed for third, fourth and fifth graders. This group usually meets the first Sunday of the month at 1:00 pm for activities such as concerts, outreach, swimming, and more! Contact Julie Pekkala for more information, or if you'd like to get involved in this exciting ministry!
