We gather
We celebrate as a group in a simple, informal atmosphere at two weekend celebrations.
We meet at 12459 St. Rt. 104 in Waverly, Ohio, (at the intersection of U.S.
23 and St. Rt. 104).

We sing
Our worship is led by a full band withmusic that is sung to God, not just about Him. Our style of music makes intimacy with God easy and natural.

We study God’s word, the Bible
Each teaching is Bible-based and practical, lending itself to real-life application. Our message is relevant for those who have a relationship with Jesus as well as those contemplating Christianity. Our messages cover a wide variety of topics that are sure to hit home with you. We know that it’s sometimes impossible to escape the difficulties of life, but we can equip ourselves with the truth in God’s word in order to meet these challenges.
ges head-on.
We pray

we seek God’s guidance and presence.

We have fun!
We laugh a lot. We believe that
church should be enjoyable and relaxing.
All formsof dress are welcome here at River Valley. Most people dress casually.

Prayer
(Ministry time) is available immediately
following both morning gatherings.

What are your services like and when are they?
The weekend services at River Valley are designed to present basic truths of the Christian faith. If you are investigating Christianity, these identical services are designed especially for you. Our two identical weekend services are Sunday at 9:30 and 11:15 a.m.

How do I get to River Valley?
We are located at 12459 St. Rt. 104, Waverly, OH...conveniently behind the Dairy Queen!

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable wearing around a group of people. You’ll see folks in jeans and other casual clothes, and you’ll see other people in suits and dresses. You’re welcome to come as you are!

Will I be recognized as a visitor?

No. River Valley respects the desires of the many who choose to investigate Christianity anonymously.

What does River Valley believe?
River Valley Community Church is a nondenominational Christian church that looks to the Bible as its source for truth and belief. To learn more about our beliefs, click here.

Where should I park?
We do have upper and lower level parking. Continue up the easement for upper level parking, which includes our handicap accessible entrance. Visitors with children find it helpful to park in the lower level, as the children's ministry area is on our lower floor.

What is your music like?
We use a live band of musicians and singers that serves as a worship team to lead the people in the singing of contemporary worship songs.

What programs are available for my children?
It is our children’s ministry program that often attracts first-time visitors to River Valley. For more information on our programs for kids, click here!

Are there classes for adults?
River Valley provides small groups during the week. You may be wondering, "What are small groups?" Simply put, they are topic or interest-centered ways to jump-start spiritual conversations and connect with other people. At River Valley, we believe life-change happens best in small groups. Learn more here.

What do I have to do to become a member?
We do not have members in the traditional sense. We believe if, after attending River Valley, you 'find God' - experience him through corporate worship, 'find a friend' - connect with others in small groups, classes, or other ministries, and 'find a job' - get involved, volunteer, follow your heart's passion in service...then you may consider yourself a member of River Valley!

Does River Valley believe in prayer?
Yes. We believe that God hears and answers prayer. River Valley has an email prayer team, a telephone prayer team, and an active prayer team behind the scenes before, during, and after each service.

Do you believe in baptism?
Yes. We believe that a public confession of your faith
is part of the journey walk with Christ. You may find
out more about our beliefs on baptism on our
'baptism' page
.
